Gypsy Wife Quilt

Whew, March blocks are slowly coming together.  I’m still refusing to tackle the Pershing block, because I love denial.  I’m not quite ready for all of those pieces and triangles cut on the bias.  I do have a deadline, though, as I’m hosting the March link up for the wonderful Gypsy Wife Quilt Along!

Last night I decided to knock out some mini-pinwheel blocks.  These things are the cutest things ever.

I see a Pinwheel Quilt sometime in the future…

Oh, Gypsy Wife Quilt… I love you.

  1. I have the book. and I purchased lovely fabric recently that I think would be perfect for this quilt and will be adding fabrics from my stash to complement them. Now, I just need the space to sew which I don’t have… yet. My room is still a work in progress; but, I am getting excited because it is so close (to getting done).

  2. oh that makes me feel better — I thought I may be the only one avoiding the perishing block. I wanted to work on this quilt over the weekend so I choose random things to work on instead of that one — your blocks look lovely
